On the afternoon of August 16, 2022, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with Hanoi Radio – Television Station to hold a press conference and information about the contest ” Beautiful voice of Hanoi 2022″.

The contest ” Beautiful voice of Hanoi” was first held in 1987. Every 2 years, the contest has become an artistic activity that attracts the attention of a large audience in the Capital. “Hanoi’s beautiful voice” is also the beginning of many famous singers such as: Hong Nhung (1987); Minh Huyen, Trung Anh (1989); My Hanh, Vi Hoa (1991); Tan Minh, Y Moan, My Linh (1993); Dang Duong (1995); Trong Tan, Viet Hoan (1997); Ngoc Khue (2001); Tung Duong (2003), etc.

The contest ” Beautiful voice of Hanoi 2022″ is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Hanoi Radio – Television Station and the Hanoi Music Association.

The contest also organized other meaningful side events to promote and draw the audience’s attention, such as: On August 21, (from 16:00 to 21:00), the launching ceremony of ” Beautiful voice of Hanoi 2022″ was held at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, with several music exchange activities involving many famous artists and singers…; Exchange with athletes with high achievements at SEA Games 31; Contestants will have the opportunity to learn and love Hanoi more through tours to famous historical sites and landscapes of the capital such as: “Sacred night – Shining Vietnamese spirit” at the historical site of Hoa Lo Prison, Experience Thang Long Imperial Citadel at night…
The finalists, in particular, will have the chance to perform with famous artists at the Gala night “Hanoi Beautiful Voices 2022,” which will take place prior to the contest’s final night.

The music director of “ Beautiful voice of Hanoi 2022” is Meritorious Artist Tien Minh. He is a “new” face but also quite familiar. Meritorious Artist Tien Minh is an actor with many impressive roles on the stage of the Hanoi Drama Theater and is also the author of many hit songs such as: Where Love Begins, Invisible Nostalgia, Only Love Remains, Sunshine at the end of the sky… “New” because this is the first time Meritorious Artist Tien Minh has taken over the Music Director of “ Beautiful voice of Hanoi 2022“. Tien Minh said of his new position as Music Director of the Competition, “Having been a composer and been involved in mixing work for many years, so I was not pressured.
