In order to demonstrate the concern of the Party Committee of all levels, of the Government of all levels, of all sectors and of the entire society to children, the People’s Committee of Chuong My district had launched the “Month of Actions for Children 2022” with the theme “Together to protect children, let’s speak up to prevent child abuse and violence toward children”.
All this years, Chuong My district has always paid special attention to children, especially those in difficult circumstances, with practical activities, such as: launching the “Month of Action for children”, visiting and presenting gifts to encourage the children on holidays, anniversaries, festivals, and promptly supporting children with preferential programs, allowances in accordance with regulations; issuing free Medical Insurance card for all children under 6 year-old, and 100% children are enjoy the support from the Social Protection System..

Responding to the ” Month of Actions for Children 2022″, People’s Committee of Chuong My district had proposed the People’s Committees of communes and towns to organize launching ceremonies of “Month of Actions for Children 2022″; organize safe and healthy entertainment activities for children. And also to implement preventing activities of violence, abuse of children and prevention of accidents and injuries for children, especially prevention of drowning for children in summer; to foster, guide and teach community and family knowledge, skills and experience in child protection, care and education for children; To provide comprehensive care for the development of children in terms of health, intelligence, morality, culture and psychology; to prevent and strictly handle acts of violence or abuse against children; to prevent and control of accidents, injuries and traffic accidents for children; to strengthen cooperative activities between schools, families and society in educating children; focus on developing the love for family, love for the homeland and traditional cultural and moral values of the region and nation for children; to strengthen education in life skills so that children know how to protect themselves from the risks of violence and abuse.
On the occasion of this year’s International Children Day, June 1st, the People’s Committee of Chuong My district had visited and presented gifts to 128 children, who are disabled or in specially situations, from 32 communes and towns. The gift set included an object and 500 thousand cash. The small gift was to encourage the spirit of children and their families to overcome difficulty and thrive in education as well as in life.

To encourage students with high achievement in study and training, the People’s Committee of the district had decided to reward 318 exemplary excellent students in school year 2021-2022. The achievement in studying, practicing discipline and morality, competing sport… is the favorable start for them to continue striving and rise up in the future, and build our country up, becoming worthy children of Chuong My – the heroic and studious homeland./.
