The victory of Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air is the victory of the people’s war strategy, of the “People’s Air Defense Battle”, of the inheritance and development of the Vietnamese military art tradition in the new era, of our nation’s intelligence and courage against a large-scale air raid equiped with modern weapons and equipment by the US imperialist. The victory has profound historical and epochal value, makes an important contribution to bringing our nation’s resistance war against the US for national salvation to complete victory.

The contest was launched to propagate widely to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the profound historical significance of the Victory of Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air, to demonstrate the glorious tradition, honor the feats of wisdom, courage and unyielding will of our nation, our army, officers and soldiers of the Air Defense – Air Force, army and people of the capital and northern provinces and cities.
The victory again affirmed the correctness and inevitable victory of the people’s war strategy and the all-people defense posture under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, built trust, upheld the responsibility of cadres, party members and people throughout the country for the construction and defense of Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The contest is aimed to propagate on solidarity and friendly relations with the armies and peoples of friends, creating favorable conditions for building and defending the Vietnamese Fatherland during the new era.
The contest is open to professional and non-professional painters, Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese. Each painter is allowed to submit one or more works to the contest. These works must be recent creations, have not been submitted to other contests, and have not been publicized in any form. Each entry is 01 digital file, JPG format, capacity from 5Mb 12Mb, resolution 300dpi, ensures for print quality size 54cm x 79cm or more (full name, year of birth, the author’s address, phone number, email written on the front, bottom right of the entry) and send to Email address: phongttcd.vhcs@gmail.com
The Organizing Committee will accept entries until the end of October 7, 2022. The contest closing ceremony and awarding ceremony are expected to take place in December 2022.
