Swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang
Specifically, after winning 5 gold medals at the 31st SEA Games, swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang surpassed standard A in the content 1,500m, 400m freestyle and standard B in the competitions 800m, 200m freestyle, 200m butterfly stroke, qualified to compete in the 2022 World Championships taking place from 18/06 to 03/07/2022.
Besides Huy Hoang, other swimmers from the Vietnamese swimming team are also qualified to participate in this tournament thanks to good results at SEA Games 31, including: Tran Hung Nguyen who achieved B standard (400m freestyle, 200m backstroke), 400m mixed, 200m mixed); Pham Thanh Bao meets B standard (200m frog, 100m frog); Le Thi My Thao meets B standard (200m butterfly); Hoang Quy Phuoc meets B standard (100m freestyle); Tran Tan Trieu meets B standard (1,500m, 800m, 400m freestyle, 400m mixed)…
