Since January of year, the Department of Culture and Information has advised the District People’s Committee to plan to inspect cultural business and cultural service establishments in the area such as: Checking cultural services at festivals, checking public cultural service business establishments and checking wrong advertisement signs … Dong Da currently has 66 karaoke shops, 04 restaurants with art performances and 146 internet business establishments…
In order for highly effective cultural management and cultural services, Dong Da organized a conference to disseminate state regulations on cultural services business with culture and service business households and organized professional training on state management of culture and cultural services for the culture – information officials of the wards, cultural officials and related sectors. The District also disseminated information to the residential groups and the residential areas on documents related to cultural activities and cultural services such as: Decrees 11 and 56 of the Prime Minister on regulations on cultural activities and cultural services business, regulations on sanctioning violations in culture and information activities. The People’s Committees of wards organized propagation, inspection and handling of violations; organized conferences to disseminate the laws and signed commitment to seriously implement the state’s regulations on sensitive business and service activities … The one-door office quickly resolved the procedures related to business license and extension for cultural business services in the area, contributing to improving the effectiveness of cultural management and cultural services in the area. Thanks to the synchronous coordination for past years in the district, there have been no illegal activities of cultural service business.
Dong Da District has issued many official documents on inspecting compliance with the law on cultural services business, fire protection and order security at karaoke facilities and restaurants with arts performances… The Culture and Information Office cooperated with the interdisciplinary inspection team in inspecting 491 cultural services business establishment and administratively penalize 24 establishment failing to fully comply with the regulations on order security management with conditional business lines and operating without a certificate of eligibility for security and order; revoked the certificate of eligibility for security and order for 23 establishments; and checked activities of displaying and selling publications which are not allowed to be circulated at some places where the festival takes place …
The district has also managed large advertisement signs on the main roads in Tay Son, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Luong Bang and Nguyen Chi Thanh … In 2018, the District has erected tens of the free advertising sites, eliminated advertising sites in the residential areas and the public areas, handled and dismantled 120 wrong advertisement signs and administratively sanctioned 12 enterprises erecting wrong advertising panels. 21 wards have removed 2,458 banners and longitudinal banners erected wrongly … Currently Dong Da is maintaining and effectively managing 26 advertisement signs in the wards.
