With the consent of the Department of Home Affairs of Hanoi city and the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi city, on January 15, at 37 Hung Vuong guesthouse, took place the 1st Congress of Hanoi Recreational and Sports Association for the 2020-2025 term.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Quang Son – Deputy Head of Cabinet Division – Office of Hanoi People’s Committee; Mr. Dinh Van Luyen – Head of Sports Management Department – Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan – Specialist of the Department of Non-Governmental Organization and Youth Affairs – Department of Home Affairs of Hanoi with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training and the delegates sticking to the movement of sports and entertainment in Hanoi city.
The congress announced the personnel project and elected the 1st Hanoi Recreational and Sport Association Executive Board for the term 2020 – 2025 with 21 people. At the first conference, the Executive Board of the Hanoi Recreational and Sports Association, for the term 2020 – 2025, met and elected a 7-member Standing Committee, including Chairman Nguyen Thi Nga, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Tuan, Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh, Than Ngoc Ha Van, Dinh Van Luyen, Nguyen Huu Hung (cum secretariat) and Nguyen Thi Thanh (Chief of Office).
The Hanoi Recreational and Sports Association is formed from a community of popular sports and is loved by society. During the 2 years of movement and gathering, Hanoi Recreational and Sports Association gathered nearly 15 different sports, divided into three groups. In which, group 1 includes dance sports, gymnastics, aerobic, entertaining dance that combines movement with music (hip-hop, flash mod, pole dance, belly dance, muscle-strengthening cardio exercises, in-room cycling with music, trampoline, entertaining choreography); group 2 includes extreme sports (rock climbing, skateboarding, and parkour); group 3 consists of performing arts football – combined with recreational sports, floating ball, bubble football different materials – soccer shirt is a pulse ball around, various sports are imported from countries around the world.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Son – Deputy Head of Cabinet Department, Office of Hanoi People’s Committee said that the establishment of Hanoi Recreational and Sport Association will promote socialization and attract resources for the development of e-sports and dance, actively contributing to promoting the movement of e-sports training and competition nationwide. From there, it creates a healthy playground as well as an environment that helps those who love this sport to compete and entertain, creating the growing movement of electronic sports and entertainment in Vietnam orientation and development strategy of Vietnamese sports.
