“Flowering Stone” – Trinh Lien
The exhibition “Meet in Hanoi” brings together 12 artists who have made significant contributions to contemporary Vietnamese fine art, with names such as: Pham Hung Anh; Nguyen The Dung; Nguyen Tuan Dung; Khuc Dinh Duong; Vu Xuan Dong; Nguyen Truong Giang; Do Quyen Hoa; Nguyen Duc Hung; Trinh Lien; Vu Muoi; Pham Nghia and Le Thanh.
“Revival” – Vu Muoi
The exhibition displays 23 works in 3 categories: Painting; Graphics and Sculpture. The artists had used a variety of materials such as: oil paint, lacquer, rubber engraving, unique printing, iron pens, pigments, interactive copper boxes, mirror stainless steel to compose their works.
The themes of these works are nature, people, the environment and human philosophies, with their visual language expressed in many different styles and genres of art such as pop art, realism, surrealism and abstraction…
“To River” – Vu Xuan Dong
“Meet in Hanoi” is an art exhibition with the aim of connecting, sharing and introducing the works of young artists from Thanh Hoa who are currently living and working in Hanoi. The exhibition also contributes to promoting the creative spirit of artists from the same hometown, as well as the desire to express a special gratitude to the beloved lands where the artists were born and studied, grew up and matured.
The exhibition is open until the end of May 14th at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hanoi./.
