From 26 to 31 May 2017, in Nam Dinh city, the 2017 national competition for professional young drama talents took place. There were 37 contestants participating in the competition with 35 qualifying items of 7 professional art units from the entire country, including Viet Nam Drama Theatre, Ha Noi Drama Theatre, the Military Drama Theatre, Nam Dinh Drama Troupe, the People’s Police Drama Troupe, the Youth Theatre and Lam Son Theatre of Thanh Hoa. The Organizing Committee had presented 5 gold medals and 11 silver ones to the artists and perfomers.
The competition was an opportunity for art workers to exchange, learn and share experiences; thus improving the quality of composition and performance, bringing into play the role of the drama stage art type, meeting the demand of art enjoyment among the public.
Ha Noi Drama Theatre had sent the young performers to partake in the competition with 6 mini drama extracts. As resulted, the young group of the Ha Noi Drama Theatre had seized 2 golds and 2 silvers. These contestants were Chi Nhan, gold medal, in the role of Hamlet, Thanh Huong, gold medal, in the role of Dat Ky. The performers obtaining silvers consisted of Thuy Anh in the extract of a nameless woman, Thuy Linh in the mini works titled You are getting more beautiful in my eyes.
Those who had achieved the gold and silver medals were the young and promising performers at Ha Noi Drama Theatre.
