The written commitment clearly states that to ensure timely response and immediate handling of any situations arising, given the increasingly complicated developments of the pandemic, the Chairman of the City People’s Committee requests directors, heads of departments, committees, branches, and chairpersons of People’s Committees of districts, towns, communes, wards, and townships to arrange and assign staff to be on duty 24/7 at Command Departments at all levels to receive directions from the Government, the Prime Minister, the City Party Committee, and the City Command Department.
At the same time, to promptly receive and handle any problems arising during the pandemic time, absolutely not to be subjective, careless, or unvigilant, that causes the pandemic to be spread and outbreak in the area.
People’s Committees of districts and towns direct the People’s Committees of communes, wards, and townships to comply with the social distancing regulations in a drastic, thorough, strict, and effective manner, under the direction of the Central Government and the city.
Along with that, it is necessary to enhance the testing on a large scale, especially in high-risk areas and for high-risk groups; to perform timely and safe vaccination at communes, wards, and townships according to the plan issued by the City People’s Committee and the Department of Health.
It is also required to ensure the supply and provision of essential food and foodstuff for people in the area subject to blockade and distancing; to promote the role of the grassroots political system that is closest to people and understand people the most, especially the commune-level police force, regional police force, and the community Covid-19 team.
The whole city procures the implementation of the model “Safe families during Covid-19 time” by calling for, mobilizing, explaining, persuading, guiding, and asking each household to sign a written commitment on staying at home and not leaving their house when it is not really necessary, in particular, mobilizing each citizen to comply with and abide by regulations, as the key to the success of the pandemic prevention and control.
