Hanoi Party Committee has issued Notification No. 759-TB/TU disseminating conclusions made in the meeting between the Standing Committee of Hanoi Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Party Committee.
Accordingly, both sides strengthen the cooperation in many fields to promote the potentiality and advantages of both sides, exchange experiences and support each other in the party development as well as socio-economic development of Hanoi city and Lam Dong province.
Cooperation between Hanoi and Lam Dong
Both sides strengthen experience exchange in various working aspects of People’s Council, especially in supervising work, contacting voters to grasp their thought and expectations in order to solve voting problems and those reflected by residents, matters related to administration reform, electronic government (e-Government) construction, capacity building, management and direction efficiency of governmental authorities in both localities.
Hanoi and Lam Dong further promote their mutual cooperation in socio-economic development, especially in the fields which are their strong points. Both sides also strengthen the provision of information on the list of projects which call for investment from both localities. Hanoi city strengthens the introduction of investment corporations to Lam Dong province, especially in the fields of planting flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and raising animals for food safety purpose, direct attention to tourism investment and development to build up Da Lat as a high quality tourism center. Both sides exchange information about difficulties and problems of investment corporations from Hanoi city and Lam Dong province.
Strengthening cooperation in socio-economic development with Lam Dong province
Commercial promotion has been made to clean and high-quality agricultural products of Lam Dong to disseminate those products to consumers in Hanoi. Both localities have been facilitated in organizing and participating in fairs and exhibitions, opening trading transaction points, looking for partners for commercial promotion, export and import. Both sides also exchange experience in state management work in terms of commerce, import-export, commercial promotion and cooperate in the market management work.
Enterprises in Hanoi city are called for putting investment into the following fields: hotels, entertainment areas in Lam Dong province. Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism take initiative in cooperation in developing travelling tours, new tourism products; issuing publications to disseminate potential and strong points of both localities; paying attention to the fields of training and tourism HR development.
Both sides strengthen experience exchange in the fields of urban planning, management and development, environmental sanitation, trending towards construction of an intelligent, modern and sustainable city.
Both sides strengthen cooperation and experience exchange in developing non-business units of both localities and state management on vocational training support for Lam Dong’s people and children in Hanoi. Both sides strengthen their cooperation in scientific research and technological development. They continuously support each other in experience and capacity building in medical testing and curing, deploying public medical services, specialized medical services and transferring some new and hi-tech treatment methods..
Attention and support have been continuously made to socio-economic investment and development of the new economic area of Hanoi in Lam Da district, Lam Dong province during 2016-2020 period. Hanoi city issues a plan on development support for Lam Ha district during 2016-2020 period, focusing on supporting in construction of some transportation engineering works and schools which are meaningful to the socio-economic development of the district; simultaneously, support is also made to agricultural development and construction of new rural areas, commercial promotion, trade name dissemination, investment attraction in the district.
Districts and wards of Hanoi city are instructed to continuously support Lam Ha district during 2016-2020 period. Districts and wards are assigned to give instructions to People’s Committees at same levels to continuously discuss and work with Lam Ha district to set up a cooperative and support plan during 2016-2020 period in line with specific conditions of each district, ward and town and organize the implementation of such plan to ensure the effective and practical performance.
Cultural exchange is periodically conducted between Lam Ha people and Hanoians. Sightseeing tours are organized for Lam Dong’s pupils, senior leaders , excellent businessmen with great achievements in new economic development for cultural and experience exchange with Hanoians. Organizing trips for delegations of Hanoi city and encourage people to visit and construct new economic areas in Lam Ha on the occasion of big anniversaries in the locality; organizing visits for cultural and art delegations of Hanoi to give performance and exchange in Lam Ha; strengthening the dissemination on Hanoi capital, Lam Ha district on mass media of both sides.
Minh Tam
