On the morning of May 10, 2017, the People’s Committee of Hang Trong ward, Hoan Kiem district held an incense offering ceremony to celebrate the 589th anniversary of King Le Thai To’s ascension to the throne (1428 – 2017) at the Le dynasty kings’ memorial site beside Hoan Kiem Lake.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of Hanoi city’s authorities, Le family in Hanoi. To the Hoan Kiem District side, there was Mr. Hoang Cong Khoi – City Party Committee Member, Secretary of District Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Chi Luc – Permanent Vice Secretary of the District Party Committee cum Chairman of the District People’s Council; Mr. Duong Duc Tuan – Vice Secretary of the District Party Committee cum Chairman of the District People’s Committee; and comrades in the District Party Standing Committee, vice chairmen of the District People’s Council and People’s Committee, heads of district departments, divisions, and associations, leaders of wards, and common people in ​​Hoan Kiem and tourists from various regions.

After the rituals, delegates and people attended the ceremony offered incense at the statue of King Le Thai To and the Grand Hall to commemorate and pay tribute to the national hero Le Loi who had great merit to exterminating foreign invaders and regain the country. A lot of cultural and artistic activities to praise the huge victory of our troops and people in the resistance against foreign invader took place at the ceremony.
