This is an opportunity for the participating authors to retell meaningful stories and memories about the dear land, Quang Tri. Those are the stories of the writer or the writer witnessed, contributing to promoting the image of the destination and attracting domestic and foreign tourists to Quang Tri; at the same time, improve the effectiveness of propaganda and education, contributing to fostering and cultivating the love for the homeland and country, and the sense of preserving and promoting the nation’s traditional values.
The content of the entries is the sharing of the trip to Quang Tri in the past or the dream, the plan to come to Quang Tri in the future; personal feelings about the land, people, culture, history, customs, practices, tourism potential, etc. of Quang Tri. It can be a true story or the author believes it to be true (spiritual stories in the past, present or future premonition) about the sacred land of Quang Tri; stories about history and heroic revolutionary war in Quang Tri. The author’s own findings and new perspectives on places in Quang Tri; the unique features of the landscape, lifestyle, cuisine, etc. that are to be found nowhere, thereby attracting tourists.
Participants are domestic and foreign organizations and individuals; foreigners (can write Vietnamese) have writing ability, interest and desire to develop Quang Tri tourism. The Organizing Committee does not limit the number of entries. Authors can use many different pseudonyms but must provide their real name and personal information in the attached form.
The time to receive entries for the contest is from September 7 to November 19, 2021. At the end of November, the Organizing Committee will organize the examination. Accordingly, from November 23-26, 2021: Mark the preliminary round, select 30 works. Summarize and select the 5 most popular works on the social network, Fanpage Visit Quang Tri in the form of scoring by expressing emotions (likes, hearts) and sharing in the public mode for each work. From November 29-30, 2021: Mark the final round. In December, the contest announcement and award ceremony will be held.
The Organizing Committee will award 1 first prize of VND 10,000,000/prize; 4 Second prizes of VND 5,000,000/prize; 5 Third Prizes of VND 3,000,000/prize; Top 10 most popular works on social networks: VND 1,000,000/prize.
