The Organizing Committee awarded 3 units with excellent achievements in the project “Green park in the heart of the city” in 2021
This is a social project aimed at contributing to environmental protection, developing green spaces in schools, hospitals and public areas, preventing climate change, limiting air pollution and protecting the environment, especially in urban areas.
The project includes 3 main contents: Organize activities and events to propagate the project “Green Park in the heart of the City”; Donate green projects and parks in the central areas of urban areas such as schools, hospitals, public areas…; Organize propaganda and education activities on environmental protection for pupils, students and families.
To propagate the project, raise awareness of students as well as teachers and parents in environmental protection, the Organizing Committee launched a painting contest with the theme “Green park in my school”.
The participants are primary school students from public schools in three districts: Tay Ho, Thanh Xuan and Cau Giay. In the contest, the students will draw a small green park in the school where they are studying to create green space and fresh environment in order to improve awareness of students as well as teachers and parents in environmental protection issues.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also organizes environmental protection education and propaganda activities for pupils via images and videos, helping to supplement knowledge about the living environment of plants and animals; environmental pollution in Vietnam as well as in the world. In addition, several games will be organized to help students understand and realize their role, contributing to creating the habit of actively planting and caring for trees and protecting the environment.
