The programme of “Learning to be a narrator” 1st season in 2017 managed to create an interesting playground for many pupils when they were able to study history, participate in experience activities and pursue their dreams to become narrator.
After two-month training and trials, the programme had selected the 1st season champion – Ms Le Hoang Phuong Linh, pupil of the 7C class – Thang Long secondary school.
Inspired by the success of the 1st season and with a view to bringing to the kid significant summer holidays, Hoa Lo prison relic Management Board has officially started to enroll participants for the 2nd season in 2018.
Participating in the programme, the kid with love for the history subject will be able to have chance to become a confident, dynamic narrator; be trained well in the professional tourguiding enviroment; at the same time, they will also be equipped with various living skills.
The programme is dedicated to the pupils aged from 9 to 15, with good voice, standard and clear accent, easy to understand expression ability,… Registration timeframe is starting from now till the 1st June and the Organizing Committee will make the sreenings of candidates on the 2nd June 2018. The successful candidates will directly be noticed at the shortlist and on the list uploaded on Hoa Lo prison relic’s fanpage.
The course will comprise of 16 classes on the morning of Sartuday and Sunday respectively, from 8.30 – 11.00 am, lasting for 2 months of June and July 2018 at Hoa Lo prison historical relic (No1, Hoa Lo street, Tran Hung Dao ward, Hoan Kiem district, Ha Noi). Among the practical lessons, the coursemembers will be able to partake the orientation activities outside the relic designated by the organizer. This programme is completely complimentary.

Within the programme, there will be charity activities organized. It is hoped that it will help lay the first bricks for the kids’ dream to become profficient Masters of Ceremony or professional tour guides in future.
