Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh – Chairman of the City People’s Committee affirmed: At present, the Covid-19 pandemic is still complicated, the City continues to drastically and effectively implement measures to prevent and minimize damage caused by the pandemic, to focus on realizing the “dual goal” of preventing the pandemic and protecting people’s health, while making good use of opportunities, efforts to recover and develop socio-economic in the new state; At the same time, in 2022, it will be 30 years since the City launched the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds”.
Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh – Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee launched the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” in 2022.
Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee stated that, promoting the results achieved in the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” over the years, receiving the direction of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Mr. Dinh Tien Dung- Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation; On behalf of the City Emulation – Commendation Council, the Chairman of the City People’s Committee officially launched the emulation movement “Good people, good deeds” from now to 2022 with the following main contents:
Firstly, continue to promote the implementation of Directive No. 34 of the Politburo (term XI) on renewal of emulation and commendation work. Raise the responsibility of Party committees and authorities at all levels in leading and directing the organization of emulation movements in general and the movement of “Good people, good deeds” in particular. Localities and units regularly renew the content, form and methods of organizing emulation movements in a practical, focused and effective direction, towards the grassroots, closely following assigned political tasks; attaching the emulation movement of “Good people, good deeds” with the implementation of “Study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style”, especially associated with the movement of “All people join hands to fight against and win against the Covid-19 pandemic” and patriotic emulation movements launched by the Central Government and the City.
Secondly, promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve productivity and efficiency of production and business, promote effective application of technical solutions to production and life; synchronously deploy solutions to both ensure pandemic prevention and maintain stable and continuous production. Promote the development of the fields of culture – society, health, education and training, science-technology, ensure social security, and support policy families, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Thirdly, maintain security, order and social safety; consolidate national defense and build a solid People’s posture; well implement plans to absolutely protect the safety of key targets, key political, cultural and social activities of the capital and the country; struggle to defeat the plots and activities of hostile forces; continue to well implement the policy of the rear of the army; fight against crime and social evils, especially drug-related crimes.
Fourthly, all levels and branches from the city to the grassroots continue to effectively implement Decision No. 01 of the City People’s Committee on the promulgation of the Regulation on detecting, fostering, propagating and replicating advanced examples of “Good people, good deeds” and published the book “Beautiful flowers” in Hanoi. To step up the propaganda, fostering, replication and study of advanced examples of “Good people, good deeds” on the information and communication system at all levels; improve the efficiency of the work of detecting, rewarding, fostering and exemplary role models, good people and good deeds from the city to the grassroots; focus on proposing and rewarding employees such as workers, farmers, cadres, civil servants, public employees and direct workers in all fields.
Fifthly, continue to build the strong Party, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; innovate leadership and administration in the direction of closer, more drastic, more responsible and disciplined; synchronously and effectively implement the Law on Prevention and Control of corruption and waste, practice thrift in State agencies and in society. Renovate appropriate forms of honoring, praising and rewarding collectives and individuals with achievements in patriotic emulation movements and the movement of “Good people, good deeds” to spread widely in the community and People do good deeds, beautiful actions, effective and creative solutions and models. Thereby, mobilize the strength of both the political system and the people of the capital in emulation movements, together with the whole country to repel the Covid-19 pandemic.
Implement the teachings of the beloved President Ho Chi Minh: “Being the example of good people and doing good deeds to educate each other every day is one of the best ways to build the Party, build revolutionary organizations, build new people, and new life”, Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee called on all levels of Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and People to promote revolutionary tradition, patriotism, the thousand-year tradition of civilization – heroism and the position of Hanoi’s capital; uphold the spirit of solidarity, make efforts to overcome all difficulties and challenges, continue to further promote patriotic emulation movements and the movement of “Good people, good deeds”, contributing to the successful implementation of the target, tasks of socio-economic development, security – defense in 2021 and 2022 according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Party Congress of the City Party Committee, building an increasingly civilized – modern capital.
