Accordingly, in the face of the new and unpredictable development of the Covid-19 pandemic, implementing the direction of the city and central government and the document No. 332/SVHTT-NSVH of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports on strengthening the anti-Covid-19 pandemic in festival activities, to ensure safety for people and tourists, the special national monument – the Huong Son Complex of historical monuments relic (My Duc district) will not organize the opening ceremony, scheduled to take place on the morning of January 6 (lunar calendar).
Visitors who come to worship at the relic area are required to strictly adhere to the 5K message of the Ministry of Health, including: “Masks – Disinfection – No gathering – Distance – Medical declaration”. In case the Covid-19 pandemic is complicated, does not ensure safety for tourists, the My Duc District People’s Committee will stop the reception of visitors, according to the provisions of Decree 110/2018 of the Government on festival management and team.
The annual Huong Pagoda Festival lasts from January 6 to the end of March (Lunar Calendar) and is the largest festival in the North, attracting millions of visitors to visit and admire the scenery. Up to this point, the preparations for the festival have been completed, ensuring the conditions for security and order, environmental sanitation, etc. as well as the requirements for Covid-19 pandemic prevention according to the Central and city guidance.
