The “Family reading-bonding love” competition in 2020 for the visually impaired, families with the visually impaired; Members of the Vietnam Blind Association and all Blind Association branches nationwide.

Individuals and families participate in the competition by answering questions from the Organizing Committee and sending pictures of family reading with the message: family reading together, family members reading books together, listening to audiobooks together, grandparents, parents giving books to children and grandchildren, etc. according to one of the following topics: Books – Origin of love; Books and intellectual development; Books – Wings to dreams.

The competition aims to create a playground for the visually impaired, visually impaired families exchange experiences in reading and listening to audiobooks, thereby increasing opportunities to access information and knowledge, develop intellect and soul, skills, etc. contributing to improving a better life.

Through the competition, it affirms the good values that books bring to human development, creating the bond between members of Vietnamese families, especially in families of the visually impaired. The competition was launched in June 2020 and scheduled to be awarded on June 28, 2020;

In addition, the Organizing Committee also organized meeting with visually impaired students at the Vietnam Blind Association; Organized meeting with visually impaired students in 3 regions at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary and Secondary School; Organized the judging round of the contest “Reading Culture Ambassador in 2020” for visually impaired students; Organized some other activities to support the visually impaired in accessing information and knowledge, serving lifelong learning such as creating audiobooks, braille books, supporting the “Light up trust, build new life” competition, etc.
