According to the plan issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the “Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Space” exhibition will take place in two forms: directly from November 22 to 27, 2021 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, located at No. 02, Hoa Lu, Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City. The online exhibition is from November 22 to December 31, 2021, at the Website of Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts http://trienlamvhnt.vn and Website of the Department of Cultural Heritage: dsvh.gov.vn.

The “Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Space” exhibition is an activity to celebrate Vietnam Heritage Day, 23 November

The “Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Space” exhibition takes place with many rich and attractive activities:

Exhibition with the theme “Vietnam Intangible Cultural Heritage”: Displaying photos of Vietnam’s intangible cultural heritage registered in the world and as the national intangible cultural heritage; Traditional costumes and musical instruments used in intangible cultural heritages: Cultural space of Gongs in the Central Highlands, Quan Ho folk songs in Bac Ninh, Don ca tai tu in the South… Exhibition of “Mother worshiping beliefs of Three Palaces of the Vietnamese”: An overview of the Vietnamese belief in Mother Goddess worship through a number of documents, images, artifacts, costumes, musical instruments, etc. unique folk beliefs with long-lasting vitality of the Vietnamese people.

Exhibition of Vietnamese cultural heritages of provinces/cities: This is a space for provinces/cities to focus on introducing their local cultural heritage; introduce typical traditional handicraft products; introduce culinary arts and local products; promote, advertise and develop local tourism, etc.

Photo exhibition of the “1st National Cultural Heritage” contest with the theme “Tangible cultural heritage in Vietnam”: Displaying selected photographic works of the authors participating in the contest, valuable works of cultural heritage.

Exhibition with the theme “Heritage around us”: Display and demonstration of traditional ao dai fashion; Art exhibition with the theme “Memory Heritage”; Exhibition “Traditional craft heritage”; Promote and introduce heritage tourism projects.

In addition to display activities, within the framework of the “Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Space” exhibition, there are also exchange activities with student music groups in Hanoi with the theme “Vietnamese young people preserve Vietnamese culture”; amateur art exchanges with clubs at the outdoor stage of Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts.

The opening ceremony will take place at 19:30 on November 22, 2021. The closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the “1st National Cultural Heritage” photo contest took place at 19:30 on November 26, 2021.

The “Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Space” exhibition is an activity to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23 to introduce, promote and honor the cultural values of Vietnam to the people of the country, international friends. Exhibition activities, cultural and art exchanges to bring emotional experiences to the audience; arouse love for the homeland, country, national pride, raise awareness and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting the value of the nation’s cultural heritage, contributing to the construction and development of an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

The exhibition contributes to enhancing exchanges between localities in organizing cultural and art activities, promoting and introducing tourism products.
