Ha Noi physical exercise and sports talents school is a specialized multi-grade establishment ( including the primary and the secondary of both basics and  seniors), having been tasked to train pupils who are the talented athletes in physical exercise and sports, coming from not only Ha Noi Capital, but also from many other provinces and cities. Most recently, under the directions of  the Party Committee of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports, the School’s Party Cell has organized a pilot congress in order to reassess the outcomes achieved in implementation of  the Party resolutions for the 2013-2015 term and work out orientations, objectives and duties for 2015-2018 term.

During the term of 2013-2015, the most remarkable outcome was that the school’s Party Cell had formulated its sound leadership and guidance in fulfilling obligations and speciality work, in which greater importance  was attached to the teaching and learning activity to make sure that the curriculums had to be precise and sufficient for its exclusive targeted pupils as provided by the Ministry of Training and Education and in accordance with the guidances by the Department of Training and Education of Ha Noi as well as the school’s workplans. A number of measures for educational improvement had been applied such as holding meetings, specialty teamworks, consultations and discussions among head teachers to exhange knowledge and share experiences so as to find out proper material preparing and lecturing methodologies fit in the targeted learners; at the same time, searching ways and means as to how to further strengthening the adherance of teaching and learning disciplines as well as the control of pupils’s education. The school had reconducted teachings and exams  for those learners to make up for their skipped lessons who were obliged to be away for long competition and tournament, so that they would be able to complete their curriculum and move into the next grades. As for results of the school year 2013-2014, the rate of pupils obtaining fair and good ethical conduct was 92.3%, with no one ranked bad and worst. Pupils’s learning quality remained stable. The rate of pupils able to move into the higher class reached 96.9%. Of the entire school, There were 81 pupils of distinction and 371 fairly good.  The rate of 12- grade graduates accounted for 93.8%, while the rate of class-continuing graduates stood at 93.75%. The number of 9-grade pupils who were eligible to be screened for basic secondary graduation registered at 100%. In the school year 2014-2015, out of 1.526 pupils belonging to 38 classes of the 3 levels, Ha Noi physical exercise and sports talents school welcomed more than 400 pupils of 3 categories which were the 1st grade, the 6th grade and the 10th grade. To create the most favourable conditions for young athletes’s studying  and training at the same site, classes had been arranged at three establishments: 32 classes at the Centre for Physical Exercise and Sports Training and Competition of Ha Noi (My Dinh), 4 classes at the Physical Exercise and Sports Centre of Trinh Hoai Duc and 2 classes at the Indoor Stadium in Ha Dong. On the sports achievements, many pupils cum athletes  became a core force of Ha Noi at the young tournaments both domestic and international. Most notably, at the VIIth National Congress of  Physical Exercise and Sports Competition held recently, more than 30 pupils had participated and won medals, bringing Ha Noi sports team to the first rank among the entire delegations, with a total of 167 gold, 118 silver and 137 bronze medals.
