“Tay Ninh Days in Hanoi” encompasses various activities, including cultural and artistic performances, cultural exchanges, and the presentation of cultural, and economic achievements, intangible cultural heritage, and local products. Specifically:

On October 7, five main activities will occur. There will be a conference to review the cooperation agreement on socio-economic development for the period 2017-2022 and the signing of the cooperation program for the period 2023-2025 between Tay Ninh Province and Hanoi. The conference is scheduled to take place from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Government Guest House, 2 Le Thach, Trang Tien Ward. An intimate reception program, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Government Guest House will introduce the delicate aspects of Tay Ninh cuisine, such as thick noodle soup, Trang Bang dew-soaked rice crepe, Tay Ninh beef, traditional cakes, hot Swallow’s Nest, and vegetarian cuisine. A program of exceptional professional artistic performances during the opening night and the following days of “Tay Ninh Days in Hanoi,” will showcase various intangible cultural heritage such as the Tai Tu music genre and the Chhay–dam drum dance. There is also an exhibition showcasing images and landscapes of Tay Ninh’s past and present, notable achievements, cultural heritage (both tangible and intangible), and attractive tourist destinations and historical sites in Tay Ninh. Products in the categories of Industry, Agriculture, Commerce; One Commune One Product (OCOP) products, and souvenirs from Tay Ninh, including tourism-related services will be displayed and promoted.

On October 8, three main activities are scheduled, including the Tourism Promotion Conference: Set to unfold from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Government Guest House’s Conference Hall, aiming to boost tourism in Tay Ninh. It will spotlight the potential and advantages of Tay Ninh’s tourism, encouraging investments in the sector by connecting businesses from Hanoi and Tay Ninh. During this occasion, travel companies will introduce tours and travel routes in Tay Ninh, outlining strategies to tap into the potential Northern market to stimulate tourism in Tay Ninh.  There will be an exhibition to showcase images of the landscapes and people of ancient and contemporary Tay Ninh, highlighting prominent achievements, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, as well as attractive tourist destinations and historical sites in the province. The event will feature 40 booths promoting Industrial, Agricultural, and Commercial products, One Commune One Product (OCOP) items, souvenirs from Tay Ninh, and tourism services from Tay Ninh travel companies. It will also introduce the distinctive cuisine of Tay Ninh, including specialties like Trang Bang thick noodle soup, the production process of Trang Bang dew-soaked rice crepe, Tay Ninh beef, various traditional cakes, Tay Ninh mangosteen, tea culture, Tay Ninh Swallow’s Nest, forest honey, melons, green peel pomelos, Tu Quy mangoes, and red-fleshed guavas.

Souvenir Display: Featuring Tay Ninh-themed souvenirs such as keychain hooks with images of Tay Ninh’s tourist destinations, plates with pictures of Tay Ninh’s scenic spots, souvenir boxes, Tay Ninh-themed pens, conical hats, and snake-patterned scarves. Introducing, promoting, and selling Industrial, Agricultural, and Commercial products associated with Tay Ninh tourism, including sugar, cashews, cassava starch, and rubber. Video clips showcasing the land and people of Tay Ninh will be presented on the LED screens in the event area and public spaces.

This event is part of a series of activities leading up to the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2023) and is aligned with the collaboration program between Hanoi City and Tay Ninh Province.
