On the occasion of the 69th World Human Rights Day (December 10, 1948 – December 10, 2017), Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has issued a plan to organize promotional programs about human rights achievements, focusing on the celebration and promotion of World Human Rights Day.
From December 5 to 12, 12 major streets of the city will be decorated with 120 banners about the world human rights day that read “Celebrating the 69th World Human Rights Day (December 10, 1948 – December 10, 2017)”, “Living and working in accordance with the Constitution and the laws to contribute to the protection and promotion of human rights and fundamental rights and duties of citizens”, “Human rights are the common values of the nations and peoples”, and “Ensuring human rights in association with political stability and social order and safety”.
The promotional activities will be organized ceremoniously, safely, and effectively in order to raise the awareness of the officials, Party members, and the masses of the people about human rights as well as to mobilize people to actively participate in the protection of human rights.
