Celebrating the 71stanniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day(27/7/1947 – 27/7/2018), the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Soc Son district in cooperation with the Youth Union of VietDuc University Hospital organized the medical examination, medicine and gift giving for 500 former youth volunteers in the district; mobilized the humanitarian blood donation campaign phase 2 in 2018.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Soc Son District’s Youth Union affirmed: The good tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Gratitude” of our people, the gratitude for sublime self-sacrificeofthe predecessorto the cause of national liberation have been preserved, promoted and concretized by young people through practical activities.
At the medical examination, the doctors of the VietDucUniversity Hospital, Soc Son Medical Center and volunteers gave medical examination, medicine and gifts to 500 former youth volunteers in the area. At the same time, with the message of “Donate one drop of blood–Save one life”, the humanitarian blood donation campaign phase 2 in 2018 has collected 117 units of blood. This is a meaningful activity, expressing the spirit of mutual affection, mutual love, sharing, responsible life, and promoting the role of volunteer for the social life of the Soc Son district youth.
