The Chess Club of Son Tay Town clinched an impressive tally of 4 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, and 7 Bronze Medals at the expanded Northern Chess Tournament 2023.
The expanded Northern Chess Tournament 2023 unfolded from December 2 to 3, 2023, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.
It drew the participation of 29 sports delegations from various provinces and cities, boasting over 600 athletes who engaged in competitive play. The competition witnessed chess enthusiasts across different age groups: U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, and U17.
Athletes competed in two categories: Fast Chess and Blitz Chess.
Son Tay Town Chess Club entered the expanded Northern Chess Tournament 2023, participating in both the Fast Chess and Blitz Chess categories.
