Activities at the Spring Calligraphy Festival as well as at relics on the occasion of Lunar New Year will change depending on the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Spring Calligraphy Festival at Ho Van, a special national relic of the Temple of Literature in recent years has become an annual cultural event on every Lunar New Year, to honor the tradition of Veneration to teacher and respect to morality, fondness for learning, respect for teachers, and respect for calligraphy by the Capital youth, students, and people. At the same time, the Spring Calligraphy Festival is also organized to meet the need to “asking for calligraphy from scholars” in the early Spring – a healthy traditional culture, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of Vietnamese calligraphy art.

This year, the Spring Calligraphy Festival 2021 with the theme “Dat Tai” will take place from February 5 to the end of February 21 (ie December 24 of Canh Ty year to January 10, Tan Suu year).

Unlike every year, because the Covid -19 pandemic is still complicated, in addition to ensuring traffic security, order and safety, the Organization Committee will raise the issue of the anti-Covid 19 pandemic and ensure the safety of visitors to the top.

Accordingly, the Spring Calligraphy Festival this year will not hold the opening and closing ceremony, but only display the calligraphy with the theme of Dat Tai at Ho Van from February 6, 2021 to February 21, 2021.

According to information from Temple of Literate Culture and Science Center Center, based on the direction of the Government and the People’s Committee of Hanoi City on Covid -19 pandemic prevention, the Center will change and adjust the activities such as: welcoming visitors, art culture, giving and calligraphy at the relic area.
