Thanh Xuan District People’s Committee has just issued a plan for activities to celebrate the 26th anniversary of its district’s establishment (December 28, 1996 – December 28, 2022) and the New Year 2023 (New Calendar Year’s Eve).
These activities are aimed to create an atmosphere of excitement, trust and enhance responsibility of officials, party members, civil servants, public employees, employees and people of all classes in the area for achievements of 26 years of construction and development of Thanh Xuan district (1996-2022). They are also aimed to combine activities to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the District’s establishment with implementation of Plan No. 329/KH-UBND dated December 28, 2021 of its People’s Committee on organizing activities to celebrate major holidays, and important historical and political events of Vietnam and Hanoi in 2022, associated with the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels and successfully implementing the socio-economic, cultural and social tasks of the locality.
The District People’s Committee assigned relevant units and People’s Committees of 11 wards to promote propaganda about achievements in politics, economy, culture – society, security – defense, and building of Party, government, political system in 26 years of construction and development of Thanh Xuan district; propaganda about advanced examples of “Good people, good deeds” in all aspects of social life from the District to grassroots for following and duplicating; promote implementation of the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life”, “5 Nos” cultural residential group; implement 02 Codes of Conduct, etc., contributing to creating habitual civilized behavior and lifestyle; raise awareness of obeying the law on traffic; keep public order and environmental sanitation; build cultural residential groups, cultural families, cultural agencies, units, and civilized urban wards; organize communication activities, exhibitions of achievements in politics, economy, culture – society, security – defense, construction of the Party, government and political system in 26 years of construction and development of Thanh Xuan district at the Traditional Room, District Culture – Information and Sports Center, etc.

In addition, based on the actual situation, the units will also organize cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the district’s establishment, and welcome the new year 2023; hold a common environmental sanitation, take action to maintain security, urban order and traffic safety in the area.
The visual propaganda in Thanh Xuan district will be carried out from December 23, 2022 until January 5, 2023.
