Over the years, the Hoan Kiem District Women’s Union has always promoted its dynamic, creative and leading role in local movements. A large number of officials and members have enthusiastically participated in the patriotic emulation movement, making effective contributions in the fields of economy, politics, culture and society.

Every year, over 98% of staff and members participate in building a women’s bookcase, reading and following the Association’s newspaper, implementing the “Golden Savings Week for Poor Women” participating in the movement “Raising plastic pigs to save money”, “Saving fund”, saving in consumption, living, saving at expenses and groups to help poor women, children, disabled, terminally ill, lonely elderly people, give scholarships to poor students overcome difficulties and study well. 100% of the association mobilizes officials and members to practice civility in weddings and funerals.
In particular, the movement of building a cultural lifestyle, implementing commercial civilization, and a culture of business conduct has gained a large number of businesswomen, especially in big markets, civilized commercial streets, streets specializing in business responded to many specific and practical movements such as: “Speak well, do good deeds, have a good style”, “ Please guests to please go”, organize “ Tuan le ao dai xuong pho, ao dai den cho” on the occasion of major holidays of the capital and the country.
Women in Cua Dong Ward (Hoan Kiem District) respond to the program of sorting waste at source through the activity “Exchanging recyclable waste for gifts”.
Implementing the year “Order, urban civilization and traffic safety”, the Association maintains 47 women’s self-managed roads; 26 blooming road sections & streets, 03 community activities; green, clean, beautiful, environmentally friendly cultural houses, creating a livable space for the community; building and replicating the club model “Women and families implement traffic safety”; organize a festival of clubs to propagate culture of behavior, traffic safety, food safety and hygiene; organize meetings to exchange, praise advanced examples…
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Women’s Union of Hoan Kiem district will continue to organize to improve the quality of emulation movements and campaigns to attract more and more women to participate, contributing to building a civilized capital as well as proactively solving women’s problems right from the grassroots level; maintain and replicate effective models, also study and build new models, contributing to the building of Hoan Kiem district which is increasingly rich, beautiful, modern, elegant and civilized, towards becoming a model urban area of the Capital.
