Launched on December 3, 2020, the contest “Sketch of Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam” has attracted a large number of students from Architecture and Fine Arts disciplines of Hanoi University of National Engineering, Hanoi Architecture University, Hanoi Open University, Vietnam University of Fine Arts. The Organizing Committee said it had received 125 entries from many universities in Hanoi.
Right after the launching ceremony, a large number of students came to the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam and found their creative ideas.
The Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam relic is the place to keep many unique architectural works, many precious objects… which has become an endless source of inspiration for students. The contest “Sketch of Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam” is an opportunity for students to create and compete through sketches of architectural works, artifacts, landscapes … of Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam.
The contest created a useful and meaningful art “playground” where the students were free to imagine, create, and express their thoughts and feelings towards the legacy of nearly one thousand years left by former generations.

After more than a month of launching, on January 5, the jury of the contest including prestigious experts in the fields of architecture, art, culture… selected the best exams to award. According to the judges’ members, the winning entries are highly artistic, outstanding in ideas and creativity. The jury of the contest selected 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes to award.
The closing and awarding ceremony of contest “Sketch of Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam” is expected to take place in January 2021 at Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam relic Special National Relic (Hanoi).
