Two more special national relic sites in Hanoi

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc signed Decision No. 1954/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2019 on recognizing seven relic sites as Special National Relic Sites (phase 10). Those recognized are Chi Lang historical relic site, Chi Lang district, Lang Son province; Xuan Giang victory historical site, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province; Non Nuoc mountain historic relic and scenic site, Ninh Binh city, Ninh Binh province; Sam Son historical relic and scenic site, Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa province; Mu Cang Chai terrace fams, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province; Dai Phung communal house artistic and architectural relic site, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi; and Hai Ba Trung temple artistic and architectural relic site, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi city.

Also according to the Decision, relic site protection areas are determined based on the records and map of relic site protection areas. The management of special national relic sites shall be assumed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the People’s Committees in the relevant provinces and cities according to law provisions on heritage.
