Accordingly, 16 excellent works of advocacy pictures with valuable content and artistic quality were awarded at the contest. The First Prize was awarded to Waiting for 30 years to meet each other on the joyful victory day by author Do Nhu Diem, Thai Binh City, Thai Binh province.
2 Second prizes were awarded to Celebrating 45th Anniversary of Day of Southern Liberation for National Reunification by Nguyen Thi My Dung, Center for Culture and Arts of Ha Nam Province; Great victory on April 30 by the author Luu Yen The, Hanoi.

Three third prizes were awarded to author Do Nhu Diem from Thai Binh City with 2 works, Pleasure of Unification and Welcome 45 years of Liberation of the South, and author Pham Ngoc Manh from Vietnam Women’s Newspaper with a work named 45 years of Liberation of the South.
Also, the organizers awarded 10 consolation prizes and a movement prize to the Center for Culture and Cinema of Bac Giang Province.
The contest of advocacy pictures for 45th anniversary of Day of Southern Liberation for National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2020) was launched from November 2019. The contest was open to both professional and amateur painters, Vietnamese citizens and Vietnamese people residing abroad.
The contest aimed to affirm the position, great stature and great value of the Ho Chi Minh historic campaign and the anti-imperialism war for the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, and affirm the correct and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh and the spirit of national solidarity, a decisive factor in the Great Victory of Spring 1975.
At the same time, it aimed to propagate the achievements and experience lessons in various fields after 45 years of liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. Especially, there is the outstanding achievements in the career of renovation and international integration, thereby continuing to affirm the inheritance and promotion of the spirit of victory to increase industrialization – modernization of the country to proactively and positively keep up with the international integration, which affirms the Party’s correct innovation policy and path to socialism.
