An advocating painting for celebrating 45th anniversary of Liberation Day
The contest was organized to propagate the context, developments and causes of victory and experience lessons as well as affirm the stature and historical significance of the August Revolution, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (currently the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) and the creative application of these experience lessons in the career of national unification, especially in the career of renovation and international integration.
In terms of topics, the works participating in the contest should aim to propagate the great achievements that our Party and people have achieved in 75 years of building, defending and developing the country.
The contest is open to all professional and amateur painters, Vietnamese citizens and Vietnamese people residing abroad. Each author will submit one or more works to participate in the contest. The entries must be new works, have not been submitted to other competitions or disseminated in any form yet.
The Organizing Committee will consider and award prizes for outstanding works including 1 First Prize (VND 15 million), 2 Second prizes (worth VND 8 million/each), 3 Third prizes (worth VND 5 million/each), 10 Consolation prizes (worth VND 2 million/each) and 1 movement award (worth VND 8 million) for units with many authors and good quality works to participate in the contest.
In addition to the winning works, the Organizing Committee will select a plenty of good quality works for exhibitions and propagation nationwide in all forms in festivals, anniversaries and appropriate political duties.
Time to receive the entries is from now to the end of June 22, 2020. The closing and awarding ceremony of the contest are scheduled to be held in September 2020.
