In the one-string bow, Anh Nguyet competed with 63 other athletes to calculate the ranking points for the division-pairing for the knockout rounds on July 27. At the content of the competition, the athletes competed in two lessons, each with 6 shots, with 6 arrows each time.

Right at the beginning of the first shot, Anh Nguyet had a very good record when she got 10 points with 3 arrows. However, after that, Anh Nguyet failed to maintain stability, only recording 9, 8 and 6 in the next three shots.
With 6 shots, Anh Nguyet has quite a positive record. She hit the 10-point box on the first three shots. However, stability was not maintained when the archer born in 2001 only scored 9, 8, and 6 in the next three shots. The total score of the first shot is 53 with 6 arrows.
In the second shot, Anh Nguyet shot the first three shots well with 29 points and scored 20 points in the remaining three shots. At the end of the first lesson, Anh Nguyet won a total of 316 points with 12 hits of 10 points; in which 2 times won the heart and ranked 42 of 64 athletes.
In lesson 2, Anh Nguyet’s results did not improve. Specifically, turn 1 (10, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9), turn 2 (10, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7), turn 3 (10, 9, 9, 9, 9, 8) , turn 4 (10, 9, 9, 9, 9, 8), turn 5 (10, 9, 9, 8, 7, 5), turn 6 (10, 9, 9, 8, 8, 7).
With a total score of 628, including 18 10-arrows, Do Thi Anh Nguyet ranked 49 of 64. This achievement of Anh Nguyet is quite far behind the best total of qualifying points in her career scored in the SEA Games from 30 to 16 points.
On July 27, Anh Nguyet continued to enter the knockout round. In this round, Hanoi archers will have to face a very strong opponent in the first group, namely the athlete, Ren Hayakawa, ranked 16th in the qualifying round. The archer of the Japanese host has a score of 653, 25 points more than Anh Nguyet.
