The Programme’s objective is to conserve and bring into play the heritages’ values, and that of national representative values, and of political, cultural, historical, traditional importance; which will make contribution to nurturing of the Vietnamese culture and people for the sake of national sustainable development.
The main task of the Programme is to renovate and embellish overally the historical-cultural relics, artistic architectures, landscaping attractions, archeological sites which have been recognized by UNESCO as special national relics or national relics of representative values, namely 3 UNESCO recognized heritages and 13 special national relics; 11 major revolutionary-resistance war relics during the anti-French and Amerian war and 6 notable archeological remnants; 20 relics of historic culture, artistic architecture, sceneries, national archeological sites which are being downgraded.
The redecoration and rearrangement of exhibits, and upgrade of museum facilities and exhibiting network will also be done which are to maintain the the exhibiting network and objects keeping stores of the state-owned museums; to equip, substitute and improve the facilities of the national museum, and others at the main economic areas and ones of tourist attraction ect …
The programmes, projects, tasks and plans for safeguarding and bringing into play the intangible cultural values and documentary heritages of representative values will be developed and implemented; applying information technology in cultural heritage management; raising up the HRD in cultural heritage.
The ways for the programme execution are to generalize and raise the legal awareness of cultural heritages; step up the social source of fundings for the programme implementation; manage and supervise the use of the sources ect … Along that line, collaboration plans with the press and media will be made to strengthen propagandas and one of these important tasks is to build special column of this programme on the web page of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as that of the local special cultural organs; at the same time mobilizing the contribution and support of differrent organizations both at home and abroad for the conservation, protection and promotion of cultural values.
Inspection, control and supervision over the fulfilment of set goals and task-implementing progress will be concentrated; encouraging the entire society to get involed in the achieving the goals of the programme; preventing the acts of neagtive, waste and leakage of the provisioned funding sources.
