The exhibition introduces readers to 27 documents in 3 parts, Part 1 “Biography and revolutionary activities of General Vo Nguyen Giap” including the books titled “Võ Nguyên Giáp – Tiểu sử” (Vo Nguyen Giap – Biography), “Đại tướng tổng tư lệnh Võ Nguyên Giáp: Hình ảnh và tư liệu chọn lọc” (General Commander Vo Nguyen Giap: Selected images and materials), “Võ Nguyên Giáp người lính vì dân, vị tướng của hòa bình, Part 2: Đại tướng Võ Nguyên Giáp với chiến dịch Điện Biên Phủ”, “Đại tướng Võ Nguyên Giáp với cuộc kháng chiến chống Mỹ cứu nước”, “Võ Nguyên Giáp – Vị tướng huyền thoại”, “Võ Nguyên Giáp trong cuộc trường chinh thế kỷ” (Vo Nguyen Giap, soldier for the people, general of peace – Part 2: “General Vo Nguyen and Dien Bien Phu campaign”, “General Vo Nguyen Giap with the resistance war against the US to save the country”, “Vo Nguyen Giap – Legendary General”, “Vo Nguyen Giap in the long journey of the century”) and part 3 “Portrait and writings of General Vo Nguyen Giap” including books such as “Chiến đấu trong vòng vây: Hồi ức” (“Fighting in the siege: Memoirs”), “Những năm tháng không thể nào quên” (“Unforgettable time”), “Những chặng đường lịch sử” (“Historical journeys”)…
Several books are on display at the Exhibition.
The exhibition aims to honor and pay tribute to the great merits and contributions of the General to the cause of struggle for national liberation and reunification and national building and defense; remember the sacred feelings and deep concern of the beloved General for the people of Vietnam. At the same time, the exhibition once again affirms the revolutionary moral example of General Vo Nguyen Giap – the excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh – The loyal revolutionary soldier who devoted his life to the cause of glorious revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese Party and people and contributes to strengthening the people’s confidence in the national renewal process initiated and led by the Party.
