Launched in July 2021, the 51st Hanoi Art Photo Contest received 1,825 works from 300 Vietnamese authors living and working in Hanoi. The works richly and diversely show Hanoi’s life in the fields of politics, society, economy, culture, education, science and technology, and at the same time, reflect social welfare issues, the beauty in the cultural life of the people of the capital, the preservation of national cultural identity, building a civilized and elegant person…
In particular, many of the participating works showed the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the capital with creative angles and profound content.
Through the selection process, there are 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes for excellent authors.
In particular, the first prize is “Happy birthday, Mom” work by author Vu Thi Thuy Ha. The second prize belonged to the “Speeding up the construction of Ring road 2” (Nguyen Duc Toan) and “A perfect delivery” (Nguyen Tien Dung). The third prize belonged to “Balance” (Pham Quoc Dung), “Love for the Fatherland” (Le Thi An Thu), “Sweat drops on the frontline” (Vu Thi Thuy Ha).
