The Hanoi Art Photography Association, in January 9 morning, held the Summary Ceremony 2016 at the head office of Hanoi Literature and Arts Associations (19 Hang Buom, Hanoi) with orientations and missions for 2017.
In the past year, the work of the Association has promoted the results of the previous term (2010-2015). The 6th Executive Committee of the Hanoi Art Photography Association, from the beginning of its term, has set up a plan covering a wide range of activities related to exhibitions, seminars, composition trips, and works related to organization and stabilization of membership in the past year.
Many contributions made by the Hanoi Art Photography Association to the Capital construction are evidenced clearly through the programs and contests on composition about a civilized, modern, green and beautiful Capital highly appreciated by people and bringing great meaning. They also reflect spirit and enthusiastic contribution of its members fully participating the event.
Membership development of the Association has also been simplified, improving the membership quality and drawing enthusiastic participation of members. Many subordinated clubs have been established as a place for regular meetings, facilitating new members to participate in key composition programs of the Association, contributing to building a beautiful image in all cultural and socio-economic aspects of Hanoi capital.

In the past year, the Hanoi Art Photography Association developed many works in the work of composition and photo exhibition. With 3 big photo contest and exhibitions, including the Photo Gallery of three linked cities of Hanoi – Hue – Ho Chi Minh City; 5th Hanoi Art Photo Gallery; 46th Hanoi Art Gallery and Exhibit, as well as many photo exhibitions with other agencies such as the contest and exhibition about “Co Loa in the past and today” with the Co Loa Relics Management Board, Hanoi or the Photo contest and exhibition about “Green, clean and beautiful Hanoi” with the Hanoi Department of Information.

The tasks done and achievements got by the Association in the past year has confirmed the success of the new term executive board, asserted the role of photography in the construction and development of the Capital, making the Association become the cradle of the national photography movement.
