“Maika – The Girl From Another Planet” movie scene”.

Inspired by Maika, the girl who fell from the sky – Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic) TV series aired in Vietnam in 1984, the film revolves around Hung (Truong Phu) – a boy suffering for his mother who died of serious illness. Hung lives with his father in an old apartment building. Loneliness makes Hung always stay alone until he meets Maika (Chu Diep Anh) – an alien girl. Maika’s spacecraft loses power, crashes to Earth, she has to find teammates and repair the vehicle. The girl helped Hung heal his heart, and on the journey to help Maika return to his mother planet, he finds the joys that at his age should have.

Choosing topics for children combined with the genre of science fiction films, director Ham Tran has brought a colorful story, attracting both children and adults.
