Giving a speech at the meeting, Head of Personnel and Organization Division, Department of Education and Training Kieu Van Minh said that the Department always promptly implements the City’s directive documents on the implementation of the Code of Conduct of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies in Hanoi City and in public places to all affiliated units and all employees in the whole industry. The propaganda to cadres, civil servants, public employees is carried out in various and rich forms such as integration in periodic briefings; conferences; training classes; through the portal of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the websites of public educational institutions under the Department; direct the principals of public educational institutions under the Department to propagate to officials and employees working at the unit. The Department also regularly inspects the implementation of the Code of Conduct of officials, civil servants, and public employees and includes criteria for grading and emulation every year with the form of inspection combined with the inspection of official duties through the performance of assigned tasks.
Through the actual inspection, the inspection team highly appreciated the exemplary, leading role of the staff in the Department of Education and Training with a prompt and professional working atmosphere; friendly workspace; The Code of Conduct is listed at appropriate and conspicuous places.

At the meeting with the Department of Planning and Architecture – which is the advisory body for the city in the field of construction and architectural planning management with about 130 employees, the Department has certain advantages in implementing the code of conduct. In the process of performing their assigned responsibilities and tasks, the Department’s staff, with their capacity, qualifications, experience, and responsibility always fulfil their assigned duties and responsibilities. To effectively implement the 2 Codes of Conduct, the Department has issued many guiding documents and implementation plans since the City issued 2 Codes of Conduct. The Department has also promoted well the role of the Trade Union and the Youth Union in organizing activities associated with the beauty, culture, and goodwill at the place at the agency or unit. The movement “Green working corner” launched in 2021 has created an enthusiastic working atmosphere, green – clean – beautiful environment at offices. The Department also promptly rewards and encourages individuals to actively participate in charity activities and mobilizes collectives, employees at the agency to participate together.

The Hanoi Department of Transport has asked all officials and employees to sign a commitment to strictly implement administrative discipline and code of conduct, civil servant culture through the registration of each individual’s emulation contract in 2022.

Thereby, the consciousness as well as the spirit, attitude and awareness of each cadre, civil servant and public employee in performing their official duties, fostering civil service culture for the contingent of cadres and civil servants are all enhanced. Hanoi Department of Transport has sent 11 civil servants to attend a training course on civil service culture organized by Hanoi Department of Home Affairs; organized a training course on communication skills, behaviour and civil service culture for 250 turns of officials and civil servants.

The team launched emulation among all civil servants and employees on the implementation of building elegant and civilized Hanoi people; Associated the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Code of Conduct with the annual public service inspection; Paid attention to the commendation of individuals and collectives with achievements in the effective implementation and implementation of 2 sets of Code of Conduct at agencies and units, and at the same time coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports for proposal for city-level commendation.
