On April 20, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the New Hanoi Newspaper to hold a meeting to organize the Olympic Running Day for the people’s health and the launching ceremony of the 47th New Hanoi Newspaper Open Running Tournament – For Peace 2021.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Ms. Tran Thi Van Anh spoke at the meeting.
At the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Ms. Tran Thi Van Anh suggested relevant departments, agencies and sectors to direct and have plans and ready plans for the mobilization of forces and traffic flow, security and order, organization of medical facilities, emergency response, and management of the list of participating athletes.
The Department of Culture and Sports also proposed the Hoan Kiem District People’s Committee to mobilize 1,500 people from the mass forces in the area to participate in the running day, build a running route plan for athletes, etc.
The Olympic Running Day for the People’s Health and the Launching Ceremony of the 47th New Hanoi Newspaper Open Running Tournament – For Peace 2021will be held at 7 a.m. on April 24 in the area around Hoan Kiem Lake (Hanoi). About 2,500 people are expected to attend the event.
The Olympic Running Day for the People’s Health and the Launching Ceremony of the newly expanded Hanoi Newspaper Run are important and practical sporting events of Hanoi city for responding to the movement “All people exercise their bodies following the great Uncle Ho’s example”.
