On the morning of 16 December, a “Danish Week – Sustainable City Solutions” outdoor exhibition took place at the Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Hanoi, and announced the contest results of Raising awareness on Green City Solutions in Vietnam. Ms. Charlotte Laursen, the Danish Ambassador in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen The Hung, the Vice Chairman of Hanoi City’s People’s Committee; Truong Minh Tien, the Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and representatives of some departments of the City attended the opening ceremony.

The exhibition is divided into three main categories: the introduction of Copenhagen solutions, underway solutions from Aarhus in Denmark to achieve the goal of becoming carbon neutral cities by 2025 and 2030, and typically contemporary architectural works designed by the Danish architects.

Mr. Nguyen The Hung, the Vice Chairman of Hanoi City’s People’s Committee highly appreciated the support from Denmark government for Vietnam, including Hanoi, in many fields such as energy, water treatment, education & training, also expressed his wish that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to be expanded and gained much achievements in the future.
