In the morning of May 16, in Hanoi, the Party’s Central Committee’s Secretariat held the national conference to preliminarily review the 2-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT / TW on speeding up learning and following the thoughts, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh.
The participants of the meeting included Politburo’s members, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Politburo’s member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Politburo’s Member, Secretary of the Party’s Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Vo Van Thuong.

Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Vo Van Thuong reported that, in the past two years, the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 05 on promoting learninging and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh has achieved the positive, comprehensive and synchronous results. This has contributed to the successful implementation of the Resolution of Party’s National Congress at all levels and the resolution of the 12th National Congress. In particular, most obviously, the implementation of the Directive 05 attached to the implementation of the Resolution 4 of the 12th Party’s Central Committee on building and revising the Party has achieved the very important results. Also according to Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission, the implementation of Directive 05 is increasingly penetrating into the social life and gradually creates the positive changes in perception and action within the Party, the political system and the people. Accordingly, many units and localities have been associated with the implementation of administrative reform, correction of the way and working style of officials and Party members. At the same time, there are more and more models and ways whic are summarized, learned and expanded by the localities and units. In addition, the practical and more specific content of learning and following the example of Uncle Ho has been also put into the regular activities of the branches, unions, agencies and units.

“Learning and following Uncle Ho has gradually become routine, habitual and self-conscious for cadres, Party members and many people in the country, associated with the implementation of political tasks of each branch, level, locality and unit. The results of the implementation of the Directive 05 together with the results of the implementation of the Resolution 4 th of the 12th Party National Congress XII contributed to enhancing the role, position and prestige of the Party both nationally and internationally”, emphasized he.
Speaking at the conference, many delegates shared about the ways at their units. Speaking at the conference, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong said that the two-year implementation of Directive 05 has achieved some important results for example: implementing the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Party committees at all levels jas been seriously urgent, active and creative in exploring ways in accordance with the local characteristics and situation. In addition, it is necessary to promote the role of the leaders, and example effectively; to further enhance the direction of the press bodies, communicate to innovate the contents and form of communication; seriously implement the regulation No. 55 of the Politburo on some immediate tasks to enhance the exampling role of the cadres and members of the Party. …Regarding the limited aspects, the Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong suggested that the implementation of Directive 05 should continue to thoroughly grasp the importance and long-term significance of learning and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh in term of building of the strong Party and political system. Besides, the Party committees and local authorities, agencies and units must continue to further define the responsibilities for leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the Directive.
