Accordingly, units need to be active in sketching out the plan of organizing and managing cultural and artistic activities welcoming New Year 2019, the Year of Pig and celebrating 89-year Party establishment (3/2/1930 – 3/2/2019). These activities will be in various forms and of rich content as well as meet the practical, safe, economical criteria and be in line with civilized lifestyle and fine cultural traditions of the Capital and Vietnamese people. In addition, the series of activities is set to arise patriotism and pride in revolutionary tradition and encourage Capital citizens to excite and strengthen the belief in the Party’s renovation lines as; be active in labor, production, work and study, enthusiastically compete to implement successfully socio- economic goals right on the first months and the first quarter of year 2019
Departments, agencies and localities pay more attention to foster propaganda, encouragement and facilitate propaganda team, mobile artistic team and artistic delegation to produce programs for the citizens before, during and after Tet. Programs held in the countryside, suburbs and children dedicated program will be prioritized.
Cultural and artistic activities preserving and upholding the Capital and country’s cultural value will be boosted, especially sound customs which form a good behavior for the youth. Furthermore, it is vital to create a healthy cultural environment right at local level, namely: visiting and supporting family contributing to the revolution, poor households, the elder and lonely elder, orphans, the disabled, etc.
It is necessary to strengthen and cooperate firmly with competent agencies in management, inspection, control of local cultural and artistic activities, promptly detect and strictly handle violations to avoid complicate cases.
Department, agencies, localities and units continuously put the emphasis on directing the management and organization of festivals to ensure safety, thriftiness and conform to the local fine customs, cultural traditions of the country and the Capital; eradicating outdated customs; focusing on propaganda of historical places’ value, legendary festival via broadcasting system in the festival and the locality.
It is highly emphasized to inspect well and stringently handle with superstitious activities, harmful cultural products, disguised gambling and “commercialization” of the festival and pay the attention to assure food safety, epidemic prevention in the festival field as well as security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, environmental sanitation in the festival.
