According to the plan, the People’s Committee of Hanoi City directs extensive communication to cadres, party members and the people about Ho Chi Minh’s thought and moral example; his glorious revolutionary life and career. To honor and deeply appreciate President Ho Chi Minh’s great work and dedication to the Vietnamese revolution; outstanding results in 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels, the Resolution of the 16th City Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Party Congress of the Party.
Communication expresses the sincere respect and deep gratitude of the people of the capital city and the country and the love and respect of people from all over the world towards the President Ho Chi Minh. Affirming the profound theoretical and practical value, the everlasting vitality of Ho Chi Minh’s thought; analyzing and clarifying the application and creative development of his ideas in the innovation, industrialization and modernization of the capital, the country and international integration.
To communicate and multiply good models, creative and effective ways, examples of good people, good deeds in all fields of social life; commend typical collectives and individuals in the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo at all levels, branches and localities; to communicate the implementation of the 2020 theme “Strengthening the great national unity, building a clean and strong political system and the Party”; associated with the communication to celebrate the holidays and important memories of the capital and country.
To timely reflect an atmosphere of excitement and confidence in the leadership of the Party and State, the patriotic emulation movement of the people and communication and commemoration activities, events taking place in branches and localities, units, especially in places where there are Monuments, Memorial Houses of President Ho Chi Minh. To strengthen the fight against false information, views, distorted claims of hostile forces, reactionary organizations, and objects of political opportunity to defame status and career, negate great values major of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, policies of the Party and State on the Internet, social networks, etc.
To communicate and promote the implementation of patriotic emulation movements; continue to implement Central Resolution 4 (11th and 12th term) associated with Directive No. 05 of the Politburo. To bring into full play the synergy of both the political system and the entire society to implement measures to prevent and fight against the Covid-19 pandemic; to ensure economic development, maintain stable political security, social order and safety, stabilize people’s lives, successfully organize the Party Congress at all levels, 17th Hanoi Party Congress, progressing to the 13th National Congress of the Party.
Along with the communication, the City People’s Committee also directed the organization of commemorative activities: the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2020); the 130th national anniversary celebration of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth date (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2020) and many other commemorative activities, etc.
In order to well implement the above contents, the City People’s Committee requested that the implementation activities should be organized solemnly and effectively with specific, practical, plentiful, diversified, and appropriate content in line with the real situation; avoid formality, ostentation and waste; towards the grassroots level, with profound propaganda and education meaning, which can spread far and wide in the people’s life, associated with the propaganda to celebrate the Capital’s important historical and political holidays and events, creating an atmosphere of excitement, emulation and positive and clear changes in the implementation of political tasks of all levels, sectors, and unions from city to grassroots, etc.
