The Trade Union of the Department of Culture and Sports requests the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade unions under direct management to pay attention to organize the “Mid-Autumn Festival” activities in 2021 for the children of cadres, civil servants and public employees; praise and reward children of cadres, civil servants and public employees with high achievements; award scholarships to the children of cadres, civil servants and public employees who overcome difficulties in studying well in the academic year 2020-2021.
Accordingly, affiliated grassroots trade unions organized activities “Mid-Autumn Festival” for children of cadres, civil servants and public employees and children of the community with special difficult circumstances with useful, healthy and diverse activities, and ensure safety, in line with the evolving situation of the Covid-19 pandemic; Organizing gift-giving on the occasion of “Mid-Autumn Festival” for children of cadres, civil servants and public employees; praise the children of cadres, civil servants and public employees who achieved high academic achievements, especially children of policy families, children of cadres, civil servants and public employees who have difficult circumstances but overcome difficulties and study well.
In addition, affiliated grassroots trade unions strengthen communication and education activities to raise awareness and action of all levels for the protection, care and education of children according to the theme of “Joining hands to protect children, prevent and combat child abuse.” At the same time, facilitate children access to information appropriate to their level, age, interests and needs to ensure the basic rights of children, especially condemn acts of abuse, maltreatment and violence against children; Provide knowledge and skills for parents/child caregivers to protect children; prevent children abuse; especially prevent and combat abuse in the online environment.
