Always associated with the country’s destiny, Thang Long – Hanoi is the convergence and crystallization of the nation’s best values and traditions, including harmony and a peace-loving spirit. In the language of music, “The Symphony of Peace” will recount the journey to find peace in the nation and the capital.
“The Symphony of Peace” is a program directed by the City Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Hanoi to organize production in July 2019 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Hanoi capital’s honor of receiving the title of “City of Peace” by UNESCO. Since then, the program has been annually conducted by Hanoi Radio and Television Station. Through the organization and implementation, the program “The Symphony of Peace” has brought a feeling of pride about the land of Thang Long – thousand years of civilization in the hearts of each audience.
This year, with the theme of “Remembrance”, the program is a highlight honoring the achievements that Hanoi capital has been striving for to build the image of a heroic capital, a city for peace.
In particular, timely reflecting the current situation, in this year’s “The Symphony of Peace” program, there are also musical works specially composed during the pandemic season, to honor Hanoians who are willing to volunteer in the pandemic center, join hands with the whole country to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a semi-classical performance form, a harmonious combination of the symphony orchestra and light band, the program of “The Symphony of Peace”, the theme of “Remembrance” is meticulously choreographed and recorded live at the scene will bring special emotions to the audience because of the high quality of art, mixed with academic music elements.
The program was staged, and mixed by talented young musician Duong Cam, with the participation of famous artists such as Dang Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Dao To Loan, Dinh Trang, Dong Hung, Tien Hung… with dancers and Hanoi Chamber Orchestra, Background band.
“The Symphony of Peace” is a meaningful program on the occasion of the 1011th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, the 67th anniversary of the liberation of the capital, and the 22 years since Hanoi was honored to receive the title of “City for Peace” awarded by UNESCO. The program will take place at 8 pm on October 30 at the Hanoi Opera House and be broadcast live on Channel 1, Channel 2 of Hanoi Radio and Television Station.
