This is one of the activities towards the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 – December 22, 2022), contributing to helping the two peoples understand, empathize with each other for the sustainable development and common prosperity of two countries in the world cultural community.

The exhibition area is divided into 4 subarea: Living space: Imperial Citadel; Belief space: Pagoda; Afterlife Space: Royal Tomb and Jeju Natural Heritage.

Along with Goguryeo and Silla, Baekje was a 700-year dynasty (from 18 BC to 7th century AD), one of three kingdoms that coexisted on the Korean peninsula. The UNESCO World Cultural Heritage-listed Baekje-era castle walls and tombs are scattered at eight sites across Gongju, Buyeo (South Chungcheong Province) and Iksan (North Jeolla Province).

The Baekje dynasty historical relic site reflects the outstanding level of cultural development of the Baekje kingdom, and contains many evidences proving the process of cultural, political and social exchanges between the East Asian ancient kingdoms.
