The competition had the participation of more than 300 athletes from 15 primary schools and 17 secondary schools in the district, competing in the following events: Chess, Chinese Chess, Athletics, Taekwondo, Badminton, Mini football, Karate, Basketball and Swimming.
The competition was organized to promote the movement of practicing and competing in sports among students; create a healthy and useful playground for children in order to improve their physical health and develop comprehensively. At the same time, it aims to discover the typical talents in the district’s sports movement to send to student sports competitions at the city and national levels.
Awarding prizes to high performing athletes
After a day of competition with 150 matches, the Organizing Committee awarded 12 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 24 third prizes. In particular, for the whole Primary school group, the first prize belonged to: Doan Thi Diem Primary School; Second prize: Tay Mo Primary School; and Third prizes: Nam Tu Liem Primary School and Trung Van Primary School. For the Secondary school group, First prize: Tran Quoc Tuan Secondary-High School; Second prize: Nam Tu Liem Secondary School; and Third prize: Doan Thi Diem Secondary School.
