Blood donation for life saving is a noble gesture of each individual to the society. With deep sympathy, affection and high responsibility to the community, Hanoi’s voluntary blood donation movement has been making an important part in saving lives and treating patients.
As reported by the functional sector, the blood reserve in healthcare facilities is often very low and not enough to meet the needs of those in need of blood. Therefore, this gesture of each donor can help many people overcome dangerous moments and win lives.

In the past time, the facilities under the Trade Union and the Youth Union of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports have actively propagated widely among officials and youth union members about voluntary blood donation and determined it as a noble duty, a responsibility of every union member. 165 officials, trade union members and youth union members registered to participate in the Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2022.
With the spirit of solidarity and mutual love for community life, with the desire “every drop of blood is given away, a life stays”, the “Voluntary Blood Donation Day” has attracted attention and enthusiastic response of hundreds of officials and youth union members at agencies and units under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports who registered for blood donation, serving emergencies and patient treatment. This activity also contributes to spreading the humanitarian values of blood donation to everyone.
