Representatives of Veterans Association give to different units the Book about Cau Giay district
According to the Heads of the Veterans Association of Cau Giay District, in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the district and welcome the 6th Congress of the District Veterans Association for the 2022 – 2027 term on 7th June 2021, the Executive Board of the District Veterans Association has developed a plan to collect, compile, and republish the book “Streets of Cau Giay District named after Famous People and Historic Places”.
The purpose of compiling this book is to pay tribute and honor famous people, historical places. Every street corner of Cau Giay district, where there are significant glorious victories and great achievements in combat as well as in economic construction and development, cultural and social life of the Vietnamese people over the past thousands of years during the process of national construction and defense.
After 12- months active implementation from June 2021 to June 2022, the book “Streets of Cau Giay district named after Famous people and Historical places” has been completed. The book introduces a total of 83 streets, of which 66 streets are named after famous people, 17 streets are named after historical places. The compilation process has gone through 3 times of appraisal and approval of the content and now has completed the publishing procedure.

At the ceremony, with the hope that the book will become a propaganda and educational document on the history and revolutionary traditions of the land and people of Cau Giay district to everyone, especially the young generation of union members, students and pilpul in the whole district, the Cau Giay District Veterans Association in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Study Promotion Association, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Cau Giay district organized a ceremony to give 200 books to the different schools, Learning Centers, Union facilities… in the area.
