For the purposes of maintaining, preserving and developing sustainably cultural heritage values and raising the awareness and initiative of residents and the social community in preserving and bringing into play the value of intangible cultural heritages, the People’s Committee of Chuong My district issued Plan No. 92 on preserving and bringing into play the value of intangible cultural heritages in the district area for 2022 – 2025 period.

The plan covers three contents: Preserving and bringing into play the value of the intangible cultural heritage, Ca Tru singing – Ca Tru singing club in Dong Tru village, Phu Nghia commune. In which, attention is paid to the opening of training classes and experience exchange on Ca Tru singing; Regularly organizing and maintaining activities at the clubs; organizing performances and introduction of Ca Tru art, contributing to understanding and spreading the love of Ca Tru art in the community; Disseminating and promoting the conservation of the artistic value of Ca Tru singing.

Preserving and bringing into play the value of intangible cultural heritage – Luu Xa communal house festival, Hoa Chinh commune (included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages). In which, special attention is paid to the dissemination and education on cultural heritages; protecting and teaching the custom of swimming in the Luu Xa communal house festival; organizing and participating in swimming competitions organized by all levels…

Preserving and bringing into play the value of intangible cultural heritages which are being in the risk of disappearance and should be given the priority of being protected such as: Ancient Tuong singing in Coc Thuong village, Hoang Dieu commune; Gong art in Dong Ke village, Tran Phu commune; Tram Gian Pagoda festival in Tien Phuong Commune; Bong dance in Dai Yen commune and traditional festivals which are included in the inventory.

Traditional intangible cultural values ​​have been still present in our life. Each cultural heritage presents its own characteristics, meeting the residents’ needs of enjoying spiritual culture. These create the abundant potential for cultural development and become an important resource in local socio-economic development. In order to well implement the conservation and promotion of the value of intangible cultural heritages in the district, the district People’s Committee has required localities to promote the dissemination activity to raise the awareness of the law on protection and promotion of the value of intangible cultural heritage; strengthen the state management of intangible cultural heritages; promote the socialization of resources for protecting and bringing into play the value of intangible cultural heritages; actively research, collect and systematize documents to evaluate the value of intangible cultural heritages, propose solutions for preserving and exploiting values in an appropriate and effective manner, serving the traditional educating works and contributing to the preservation of the cultural identity, making intangible cultural heritages become advantageous tourism products of Chuong My district.
