Each year, Hanoi will deploy decoration, propaganda, and visual promotion activities to serve political tasks in the city, with a focus on propaganda for public holidays and anniversaries, results of the Central Committee and City Party Committee’s implementation of thematic programs and resolutions, propaganda to serve the Capital’s socioeconomic development tasks, foreign affairs, cultural promotion, and other tasks assigned by the Central Government and the City.
The decoration and propaganda effort is inextricably linked to the content and scope of each event. At the time of major events, holidays, and anniversaries of the country and the capital, the forms of decoration and propaganda convey the political, historical, and cultural meanings of Hanoi Capital, serving the people of the capital as well as promoting the beauty of the country and the people of the capital to a large number of domestic and international friends.
In order to improve the efficiency of decoration and propaganda, the City will focus on decorating offices of offices, buildings, commercial centers, central roads and public areas; Propaganda in the mass media; Propaganda on technology platforms through recording video clips, sharing articles, short films, information in graphic form to post on digital technology platforms and social networking sites, on the Fanpage of the Department of Culture and Sports, Youtube channel and grassroots information system to introduce important political events and tasks of the City and the contents of Program No. 06-CTr/TU of the City Party Committee; focus on the fields of culture – sports, initiatives and experiences to spread to the masses; Distribute information and propaganda products. Develop mobile communication programs on technology application to serve the people, especially in remote and remote communes. Organize cultural events at national and international levels in capitals of countries and provinces and cities.

Regarding visual propaganda, in addition to effectively promoting traditional visual images such as installing 2-sided panels, flag holders using decorative reflectors, and framed flags in traditional patterns, Hanoi will deploy various types of technology application visualization such as: installing Led screens in the central area, installing solar panels at planned locations; Organizing experience corners, displaying artifacts, performing cultural, sports and family activities; conventions and norms forming Hanoi’s cultural lifestyle; tangible and intangible cultural heritage and other areas related to the development of cultural industries and creative cities.
